Product Designer

We are looking for a Product Designer who is passionate about creating delightful user experiences in the education space. You will own the end-to-end design process from research and wireframing through to high-fidelity prototypes and handoff. You will shape how students interact with mock exams, track their progress, and plan their study.

• Own the design process from discovery to delivery for key product areas
• Conduct user research and usability testing with students and educators
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
• Maintain and evolve the ATARise design system
• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Present design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale

• Minimum 3 years product design experience with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in Figma including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
• Experience designing data-rich interfaces such as dashboards and analytics
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design
• Strong visual design skills with attention to typography, spacing, and colour

• Experience designing for education or youth audiences
• Motion design and micro-interaction skills
• Experience with accessibility auditing tools
• Illustration or iconography skills
• Understanding of the Australian VCE system
